The Elephants of Ithumba

Some photos taken at the Ithumba Camp in Tsavo East National Park in Kenya. I spent some time with the Elephants at the David Sheldrick Trust release Centre there in December 2008.

Wildlife of Ithumba

Although the focus of my First visit to Kenya was the Elephants, they are not the only wildlife in the area.

Here are a few photos of some of the other things we were lucky enough to see in the area.

Tanzania - Tarangire

I visited Northern Tanzania in 2010, on a three week long Safari. Here are the photos from our first stop in Tarangire National Park.

Tanzania - Ngorongoro Crater

A visit to the unique habitat of Ngorongoro Crater is a must for any visitor and we spent several hours there as we left Rhotia on the way West.

Tanzania - Ndutu

We spent a whole week in the Ndutu area. The southern edge of the Serengeti ecosystem is the place the Wildebeest come to have their calves and the predators of the area are always waiting for them.

Tanzania - Lake Manyara

Our final stop on our way home was a couple of days at Lake Manyara National Park.

Lush forest, fed by eternal springs from the bottom of the Rift Valley wall encourage a host of wildlife to the shifting shallow waters of the lake.
